The Tax Governance and Operational Taxes within the Group Tax is a team of dynamic finance professionals providing a wide range of financial analysis, reporting and operational support.The financial services delivered by Tax Governance and Operational Taxes includes:Regulatory, Compliance and TaxProjects, Technology, Controls and GovernanceYour Reporting LinesThe Manager, Regulatory & Compliance Reporting reports to the Reporting Lead and must maintain and build productive relationships with the following key stakeholder groups:Group FinanceGroup and Business Unit Risk teamsGroup ComplianceGroup TaxGroup LegalLine 1 Finance Risk SupportBU Product teamsBU Finance teamsBU Subject Matter Experts in the area of FATCA, CRS, AIIR and SSR / GSDTechnologyInternal and external auditDo work that mattersAs part of Group Tax, the Tax Governance and Operational Taxes team is responsible for reporting to the Groups regulator, including ASX, ATO and other regulatory bodies (both domestic and international) which supports the Groups banking license.Key activities include:Accountable for the complete spectrum of operational activity related to the Groups Substantial Shareholdings Reporting (SSR) / Global Shareholdings Disclosure (GSD) obligationsManaging the ongoing monitoring activities and prepare reports for submission to local and offshore regulators to ensure tax compliance with the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Annual Investment Income Report (AIIR) legislationManaging the impact of product & system changes in a timely manner to ensure accurate reporting to the regulatorsCompliance with and implementation of new regulatory reporting requirementsProvision of data and information, as and when requested, to the regulatorsBU engagement, Risk and TechnologySee yourself in our teamPartnering with key stakeholder groups, the Manager is responsible for:Delivering quality reporting to meet the needs of the regulatory bodies, which support the Groups banking licenseFostering a diverse, inclusive and high-performance cultureContributing significantly to the vision and strategy for the Group Tax teamDriving and delivering continuous improvements across reporting processesBuilding strong relationships with stakeholders across the Group as well external stakeholdersStrong contribution to the Group Tax business and culture planApply Now to live your best life, by doing your best work with us! **If you''re already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you''ll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application.
