Your financial expertise will not only add value to the organisation and team, but also drive resourceful impact!Your new roleAs the Financial Controller, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will spearhead the organisation''s financial activities, including reporting, budgeting, audit, treasury and compliance.This pivotal role places you at the heart of the leadership team, working closely with the Executive Team, Board and other key stakeholders to drive financial excellence and support strategic growth.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Full Function Financial Accounting & Reporting, Cost Accounting/Operations Finance, Financial Planning & Analytics and Tax for Australia and New Zealand.Lead and mentor the medium-sized finance team, cultivating a culture of accountability and collaboration. (2 direct reports and 15 indirect)Develop comprehensive periodic budgeting and forecasting processes, including developing long-range financial plans and forecasts in support the development of the strategic plansBusiness partner to six divisions providing key insights through data analytics to drive enhanced accountability and improved financial performanceSupervise financial processing, including payments, payroll, banking and fixed assets.Managing cash flow, financing, capital raising, and covenant compliance.Maintain robust financial controls, risk mitigation strategies, and policy governance within SAP system.What you''ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will be passionate about the organisation''s mission and resonate with the core values. You will have a thorough understanding of the Manufacturing industry and previous management skills.CA/CPA membership (or equivalent is required) and a demonstrated ability to influence executive decisions through financial insights and analysis, have a deep understanding of compliance, accounting standards and financial reporting and have exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.In return for your hard work, you will be rewarded with an attractive annual salary, dependent on your skillset and experience of circa $180,000 - $220,000 + superannuation. You will also have access to earn additional shares and a end of year bonuses.
