Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.The Manager, Human Capital & Resources will play a pivotal role in driving workforce planning and organizational growth, with a strong focus on talent acquisition and recruitment activities which will comprise at least 50% of the role. In addition, the position will support key areas across the HR function, including employee relations, change management, health & safety, organizational design, and fostering a positive, high-performance workplace culture. The role will also contribute to compensation and benefits benchmarking and lead ad-hoc HR initiatives as needed. A well-rounded HR Generalist with strong recruitment expertise will be ideal for this position.Organizational RelationshipsThe Manager, Human Capital & Resources reports to the Senior HR Manager.The Manager, Human Capital & Resources may also report to the Head of the HR Department and/or the Director of Finance, HR & ITT.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe duties of the Manager, Human Capital & Resources include, but are not limited to, the following:Workforce Planning & Talent AcquisitionLead workforce planning initiatives to ensure alignment of talent requirements with organizational goals and growth strategies.Oversee the recruitment process (end-to-end), ensuring timely hiring of qualified candidates across various functions.Work closely with hiring managers to identify key talent needs and implement effectively recruitment strategies.Manage the talent pipeline and foster a strong employer brand to attract top-tier candidates.Employee RelationsFoster positive employee relations by addressing and resolving employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and timely manner.Act as a liaison between management and employees to maintain open communication and ensure a harmonious work environment.Handle employee relations matters, including compliance with employment law and regulations.Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.Learning & DevelopmentEvaluate individual and organizational development needs.Create and execute learning strategies and programs in line with organizational goals.Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.Manage and track annual training budgets.Health & SafetyAppointed as the Health & Safety Officer for the organization, responsible for overseeing and ensuring adherence to all health and safety protocols within the organization.Ensure the organization complies with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.Promote a culture of safety and well-being across the organization by developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.Conduct regular safety audits and ensure that workplace health and safety risks are identified and mitigated.Manage the reporting and resolution of any health and safety incidents.Lead and manage ad-hoc projects related to compensation and benefits benchmarking, analyzing industry trends, collaborating with HR leadership on the development and implementation of compensation strategies to enhance the organizations compensation structure.Stay up to date with market trends and compensation best practices to remain competitive in employee benefits and compensation.Undertake any other relevant projects as assigned by the department, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and organizational success.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities RequiredMinimum 8 years of experience in human resources, with a strong background in workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational design, and health & safety.A Bachelor''s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
