Together with Caterpillar, we''ve been there for customers selling and servicing the best equipment in the world on land, at sea, in construction, mining, and industry.ABOUT THE ROLEThis is an exciting multi-faceted opportunity for a high performing leader to join our successful Victorian and Tasmanian Earthmoving and Mobile Plant business.Our sales growth forecasts require a consistent and sustained customer focus, while identifying efficiency gains in many areas of our parts supply and distribution process.Based in our Clayton Head Office, you will report directly to our General Manager Product Support and have overall responsibility for leading a team of 7 experienced and dedicated individuals, across our Inventory and Logistics team.Your main responsibilities will include:Operational oversight of parts inventory controlTransportation management for parts and warehousing across the DealershipNetwork optimisation to deliver operational costs efficiency gains to our businessDevelop and enhance systems, processes, and practices to optimise and support Sales to Users (STU) opportunitiesOperational management of the Used Parts business ensuring inventory levels are effectively managedSet and monitor KPIs and targets for branchesManage all aspects of the Parts Exchange program including inventory levels and repair optionsABOUT YOUYour strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, as well as your proven passion for continuous improvement, will see you excel in this role.You pride yourself on being an excellent collaborator and you bring with you experience in inventory and logistics, transportation and network optimisation and management.To be considered for this role, you will have:Extensive experience in a similar role and industry with demonstrated leadership skillsSound conflict resolution, problem solving and interpersonal skillsStrong project and budget management skillsAbility to develop long term internal and external customer relationshipsDedicated commitment to safety and quality work practicesFormal qualifications reflective of the role would be considered favourablyWHY WORK WITH US?Joining the William Adams family, you will instantly feel welcome and supported.
