As a Payroll Officer, you''ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring wages are processed promptly and in line with all policies, awards, and legislation. You''ll also take ownership of maintaining Employee Master Data, processing changes, and onboarding new starters.More About The RoleAssisting the Senior Payroll Officers in the end-to-end payroll processing and off-cycle payments for their assigned pay run group/sEnsuring all deadlines are met and pays are processed accuratelyCompleting analytical checks and balances within the Time and Attendance and Payroll systemsCompleting out-of-system processes, such as Government and Company Paid Parental Leave and Higher DutiesReviewing pay queries within the payroll inboxProcessing Group employment changes, including new hires, terminations, position changes, salary changes and inter-company transfersUpdate and maintain pay records, associated timekeeping data and statistics, leave records and related informationMaintain Team Member allowances and deductionsAbout YouSound understanding of the General Retail Industry Award 2020Knowledge of the Storage Services and Wholesale Award 2020, Road and Transport Award 2020 and Clerks Private Sector Award 2020 (Preferred)Understanding of LSL, ATO and Superannuation guarantee legislation and regulationsDayforce/Preceda knowledge an advantageTechnical knowledge of payroll processes and proceduresExcellent communication skills both written and verbalHigh sense of urgency balanced with meticulous attention to detail and accuracyAbility to exercise discretion and contain highly confidential information within PayrollAbility to display flexibility in adapting to changing conditions and reset priorities based on business needsAbout UsWith more than 290+ stores and 2500+ employees nationally and a brand-new state-of-the-art distribution centre, we are Australia''s leading retailer and wholesaler of fashion and comfort footwear, owning and operating some of Australia''s most iconic brands including Bobux, The Trybe, Midas, Mollini, Cinori, Mathers, Williams, Diana Ferrari, and Australia''s largest online footwear retailer, Styletread!As a family-owned company, at Munro Footwear Group (MFG) we value our team, our loyal customers, and our dedicated suppliers.
