Construction Supervisor OO6/12 x positions availableInitial 3-month contract + likely ongoing extensionQLD State Government$61.64 PH + superASAP startToowoombaWe are working with one of QLD''s largest State Government Departments, who are seeking a Construction Supervisor to lead the delivery of a variety of maintenance and minor works projects. Working closely alongside the Operations Manager, this role will see you responsible for inspecting properties, managing contractors, communicating with internal and external stakeholders and completing relevant paperwork.Duties include:Oversee the delivery of construction, maintenance, and upgrade projects.Contract administration.Supervise and support the performance of office staff, field workers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.Conduct detailed condition assessments and develop accurate cost estimates to guide effective project planning.Prepare high-quality tender and quotation documents, estimates, trade packages, material lists, and construction programs.Undertake building inspections and surveysDrive a proactive safety culture by ensuring compliance with WHS requirements, leading on-site inspections, and participating in safety audits.About You:Construction industry related trade qualification is highly desirableExperience in maintenance and minor works projectsKnowledge of WH&S and compliance activitiesExcellent communication and stakeholder skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and computer systemsCurrent Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) General Safety Induction CardA current driver''s licence - as there will be overnight travel required with this roleAs part of our contractor community, you''ll have access to:Shopping, lifestyle & entertainment discountsA dedicated recruitment partnerAn Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Ongoing support and career guidanceApplyTo be considered for this position, please apply below with your CV and cover letter in Microsoft word format.
