We work with current and emerging tools and techniques to help build reliable, scalable software. Our expertise in software quality principles and techniques enables key principles of whole-team ownership of quality, close proximity of software development and test activities, and reliable, scalable test automation.Our capability is comprised of passionate, flexible technologists who love to practice and hone their craft. As tools evolve and technologies emerge, we work to stay in front of innovation in automated software development and delivery.We work in cross-functional teams to build full-stack solutions across a range of established and emerging technologies and techniques.Our QE core principles are:We believe in a whole team ownership of qualityWe believe Quality Engineers empower teams by bringing a focus on qualityWe believe in the benefit of close proximity between development and test activitiesWe believe automation is critical for high-quality, high-velocity deliveryWhat You Will DoPerform exploratory testing on product builds alongside the team and our customersImplement and evolve automation frameworks; drive increased test automation coverage across projectsDevelop appropriate testing strategies for small to medium-sized projectsProduce test status reports and quality metricsFacilitate defect triage and guide overall defect resolution processesConduct test reviews and support requirements traceability and test coverage mappingHelp the team prioritise and execute testing activities aligned to the test pyramidAssist teams in setting quality goals and defining acceptance criteriaContribute to data migration testing, planning and execution when applicableWhat You Will Bring5+ years of professional testing experience, including Agile delivery (e.g., Scrum)Experience across the full software development lifecycleProven ability to embed quality practices early in the lifecycle (Shift Left) and maintain quality post-release (Shift Right)Strong advocacy for shared quality ownership across disciplines2+ years of hands-on coding experience in one or more of the following: C#, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Python, Kotlin, or SwiftSolid experience in automation testing, including:UI test automationAPI/service/contract testingData test automationProficiency in SQL and working with data for validationBonus: Monitoring or maintaining system quality in production environmentsBonus Experience (Nice To Have)Data migration testingUnit and integration testingPerformance and load testingDevOps/build engineering knowledgeApplication security testingCustom test tool developmentMobile app test automationProject management or Scrum MasteryBusiness analysis and consulting backgroundThis is a great opportunity to work in a highly collaborative, tech-driven environment where quality is everyone''s responsibility and automation is at the core of how we build software.Our ValuesOur culture and values reflect each individual _Builder.
