This is a unique opportunity to establish best practices, build frameworks from scratch, and ensure our customer data is secure, well-managed, and used effectively. Data is at the heart of our business, and this role is critical to delivering our long-term strategy. By safeguarding and governing client data, youll help us use it in the most effective wayenhancing decision-making and providing the best possible retirement outcomes for our clients. If youre excited about starting fresh, setting up best practices, and making a real impact, this is your chance to be part of something big.Key ResponsibilitiesOverseeing customer data governance, ensuring our information is accessible, secure, and reliableActing as the data ambassador, bridging the gap between the data centre of excellence and the businessBuilding strong relationships with internal teams to drive data projects and best practicesPromoting excellence in data quality, governance, and safeguards within the Advice and Customer teamsDefining and maintaining consistent data standards, ensuring integrity, availability, and complianceManaging data lineage, tracking its journey from source to output for transparency and accuracyWhat You Will BringYour expertise in data governance and management will be key to success in this role. Youll also bring:A tertiary qualification in Data Governance, Information Management, or equivalent experienceA deep understanding of information management best practices, policies, and legislationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindsetThe ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a teamExperience with Collibra, Informatica, and Google Cloud Platform (a bonus but not essential!)Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at all levelsFind the better wayWhat gets us excited about working here?
