This role will also support ongoing volunteer management responsibilities, ensuring volunteers are supported, developed and meet ongoing organisational compliance requirements. This role will ensure that volunteers are aware of the importance of the principles of wellness and reablement, consumer choice and consumer directed care when working with isolated people to support their engagement in wellness or social activities and remain living independently within their community.This role is a Fixed Full Time Position and will see you work predominatelyacross Swan Hill and supporting other regional areas more broadly across Victoria.About you:This is the place for you if you have:Experience working with volunteers and/or staff engagementAbility to communicate using a range of mediums, targeted to a broad audienceStrength in planning, organisation and attention to detail requiredDemonstrated understanding of the Aged Care sector, volunteer programs and the Aged Care Quality Standards an advantageRelevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Welfare, Community Services, Human Resources or equivalentThrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactionsAre committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BESTway of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)Essentials for working in Aged Care:A current Working With Children Check cardCurrent and ongoing flu vaccinationsAustralian working rightsAbility to pass a national police clearanceMake a positive difference in your community apply now!Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply for this role.For more information please contact the Recruitment Team atRecruitment@unitingagewell.org.
