GPRA is seeking a highly motivated, well organised and self-driven person with entrepreneurial and business skills who is experienced, at director Level, in the governance of organisations like GPRA. Desirable qualifications, skills and experience for this appointment include legal and information technology.The Board meets either face-to-face ( scheduled 4 times a year) or via videoconferencing, as well as additional online meetings, as required. The Appointed Director will be required to attend a minimum of 80% of all meetings, and be prepared to Chair the Boards Nominations and Remuneration Committee.The term is for three years from date of appointment with a stipend to recognise services rendered.General Practice Registrars Australia (GPRA) is the national peak body for future GPs in Australia. Our members include medical students, prevocational doctors, GP registrars to early career GPs with an interest in general practice.We have 20,000 members. GPRA is the independent advocate and impartial advisor amongst the General Practice training landscape in Australia.
