Thats refreshing.Play a critical role in our logistical transformation, supporting the transmission electricity network by ensuring the constant availability of strategic spares to enable a safe and timely response to electrical outages across Ausnets transmission network.Reporting to the Logistics Manager In this role as a Logistics Stores Officer you will play a key role in ensuring required materials are available, fit for purpose, accurately managed in the Inventory Management system and can be dispatched on time and in full to field engineering partners or project delivery teams.This role will primarily be based in our Yarraville warehouse and is part of the Logistics Team. There will also be an expectation within this role for statewide travel to support our regional stores.This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:Management of Transmission and Station level support spares.Issuing of required spares to support planned or unplanned Transmission level outages.Conducting stock takes across multiple sites in accordance with company stock take schedule.The physical and system receipting, inspection and storage of Transmission and Station level support spares.Manage the logistics process for Transmission and Station level support spares including freight management, reverse logistics and dealing with stakeholders across the inventory stream.Control the inventory system process around material management including the repair/refurb process of Transmission and Station level support spares.General housekeeping of stores, warehouse and surrounding areas.Counterbalance and/or reach truck activities including the loading and unloading of freight operating a 2 or 6 tonnes counterbalance forklift.Site deliveries of urgent Transmission and Station level support spares in the event of an unplanned requirement.Availability for on call roster in line with company seasonal risk periods.Maintain and develop stakeholder relationships in support of business continuity.Maintaining accurate system data relating to inventory movements or holding levelsYou dont need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:Operational level warehousing experience.SAP/ERP experience highly regarded.An ability to work autonomously or part of a team.A high level of attention to detail.Highly motivated, self-starter with a good understanding of time management principles.Full clean driving licence.Dogman and crane licence preferred.Manual handling certification highly regarded.A real place to belongWe celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives and diversity in our team.
