Join to apply for the Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Laverton role at Alex FraserContinue with Google Continue with Google1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Laverton role at Alex FraserHEAVY VEHICLE DIESEL MECHANIC: Join Australias Leading Sustainable Materials Supplier.We are looking for full-time Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team.Working out of our Laverton North Workshop & onsites, youll be maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and asphalt machines, pavers, rollers, bobcats, profilers & trucks.In This Role, You WillInspect and diagnose faults and the condition of our machinesIdentify any worn or damaged partsCarry out preventative maintenance services, maintaining service recordsComplete and submit the necessary paperwork and reportsWhats In It For YouCompetitive hourly rate, plus penalties, plus superMonday to Friday day shifts, standard hours 6:00am 3:30pm with additional overtime available and Saturday workOn call night shifts are availableFully maintained service vehicle providedAll uniform and safety equipment suppliedAn unwavering safety culture, and a great team to work withOpportunities for flexible working arrangementsThis Role Is a Great Fit If YouAre a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel MechanicHold a valid white card, or willing to obtain oneHold a valid Dogmans & forklift ticket highly advantageousHave a commitment to safetyHave experience with heavy equipment, such as trucks and earthmoving equipment (preferred)Experience with CAT/HAMM/SAKAI equipment preferred, not essentialLike working in a clean, modern, and well-lit workshopWant to work with a great teamAll successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening.
