A proactive individual who is able to work under pressure, and independently under limited guidance but comfortable working in a team environment.The .NET Senior Applications Developer supports the Team Leader in the management of day-to-day matters relating to the development, maintenance, enhancement and support of applications within the IT Solutions Section of the ICT Branch, including participating in section planning and aligning longer term plans with agency goals and objectives.The role is responsible for undertaking very complex and/or sensitive work, under broad direction, utilising expertise across a range of activities relating to the design of software applications.Key position responsibilities include, applying strategic and systems expertise to enhance and improve existing software, including designing, developing, implementing and testing software systems, in line with business requirements and software development standards.You will manage client relationships, work in line with project budgets, ensure deadlines are consistently met and that a high standard of technical and design documentation is provided.You will be responsible for project progress reporting and ensure compliance with governance processes, while contributing to doctrine, election preparation and delivery activities in accordance with the election readiness framework.In this role, you will provide high quality and timely advice internally and externally, including guidance and reporting to Branch leadership and the Senior Executive cohort, while leading and manage a team to ensure high quality outputs, including building team capability to maintain a high level of expertise and encouraging career development.
