As a result, we are looking for a strong Senior Technical Business Analyst with Guidewire ClaimsCentre experience to join our team. There are three roles available, all within our Consumer Tribe.You will have the opportunity to join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs across the Suncorp Group. The Chapter consists of around 280 like-minded analysts, where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing. You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) and supporting the platform.Suncorp is proud of our fantastic culture where you will be supported in your career development.What Youll DoWork within a squad as part of the broader Consumer TribeBuild strong relationships through engagement with colleagues, and stakeholders across Business and Technology.Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.Create detailed user stories (in JIRA) to support delivery.Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Project Manager, Scrum Master, architects, Developers, Tech Leads, Test Analyst to identify, capture, plan and deliver changesMentor/train team members; participate and contribute to business analyst chapter and/or forums providing insights and thought leadershipSuncorp offers a hybrid way of working where you will be expected to be in the office approx. 2 days per week.What Youll BringRecent experience with Guidewire ClaimsCentreMinimum 5 years technical senior business analysis experience in a project/delivery orientated role, from a large organisation.Minimum 5years Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation.Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements.Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and negotiation skillsStrong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference.Must be able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines.What We Can Offer YouDiscounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as insurance products.A range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave, 4 weeks paid secondary carer parental leave and unlimited paid emergency response leave.Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs.Give back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leave.Prioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee council.About SuncorpFor over 100 years Suncorp has been driven by our guiding Purpose to build futures and protect what matters.
