This ward includes a cardiology and cardio-thoracic pre-admission clinic, a 12-bed day ward, and a procedure room where patients undergo a wide range of elective procedures including EPS/RFA, angiogram, PCI, PPM, ICD, TOE/DCR and more.Youll work within a collaborative, team-based Cardiac Service Division and play a key leadership role as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). In partnership with the Nurse Manager and ANUM, you will support clinical excellence, enhance patient outcomes, and mentor junior staff.About Your RoleSupport and promote preceptorship including undertaking the preceptor role.Developed assessment, clinical reasoning, problem solving and prioritisation skills.Perform nursing interventions and procedures in accordance with Royal Melbourne Hospital policy and procedures.Ensure adherence to organizational standards and mandatory requirements but not limited to Infection Control, Hand Hygiene, Medication Safety, Basic Life Support, Manual Handling, Risk management and Occupational health and safety.Provide high quality standards of patient care.
