Position: HR & Payroll Officer Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: EBA Level 3.1 ($79,688.03 + Super) Location: Fawkner/Hybrid The Opportunity As the HR & Payroll Officer, you will support the day-to-day activities of our HR department by providing quality administration support and exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. You will collaborate with the HR team in a dynamic environment, delivering HR & Payroll support to over 300 team members across multiple GMCT sites. You will undertake other duties in the best interests of the organization, consistent with your qualifications and experience. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding. Assist with onboarding and induction, track probation reviews, and communicate outcomes formally. Manage HR content on GMCTs intranet (design artwork using Canva). Assist in developing and implementing HR/Payroll policies and procedures. Payroll Provide backup support for payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Perform payroll checks biweekly to verify data. Manage departmental requirements, especially employee entitlements. Produce and distribute payroll reports, including KPI and workforce data. Maintain payroll information on MyHub. Qualifications & Experience Relevant qualifications in business or administration. Minimum 5 years experience in administrative roles. Experience with work planning, prioritization, and delegation. Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and provide recommendations.
