The position sits inside the Science and Research team in ANZ and plays a key technical role within the organisation.Key responsibilities include:This role assists the scientific affairs manager in providing scientific affairs support across the global H&H Group for the adult nutrition category. The Scientific Affairs Associate assists in generating scientifically accurate and clinically relevant documentation to supporting product development efficacy and claims.The key responsibilities of this position are to: Provide scientific support across the business as required, including New Product Development (NPD); Regulatory; Marketing; Research; Public Relations; Training etc. Conduct systematic searches and reviews of the scientific literature, using the highest standard of scientific rigor, to inform product development and claims Support the scientific affairs manager in providing scientific affairs to the business Assist the scientific affairs manager in key opinion leader relationshipsDesired Skills and ExperienceWe look for people who have what it takes to make an impact; who can challenge us to go further while pushing themselves to deliver exciting and ambitious results.To make sure were setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:Postgraduate qualification (PhD or Masters) in pharmaceutical, medical, nutritional, or health sciences, etc.Ability to conduct strategic literature searches and critically review scientific evidenceAbility to translate scientific informationHas an extensive knowledge of a variety of nutrition ingredients and their role in human nutrition.Basic understanding of regulatory requirements for therapeutic (listable) and non-therapeutic products (e.g. food, beverages) in Australia, Europe and China would be an assetConducted strategic literature searches, preferably in the nutrition field.Experience in product innovation within the FMCG space.Understands how to translate nutrition science into tangible business product development opportunities.H&H Group believes in the benefits of a diverse and inclusive workplace and aims to reflect the varied cultures within which we exist.
