Youll lead the delivery of high-quality outcomes for a range of clients across New South Wales and youll have a voice and plenty of opportunity to shape and grow the practice.We offer flexibility that works for you and hybrid working options and with offices in Sydney and Newcastle, we welcome interest from anyone in located New South Wales.Heres what you can expectYoull join a leading team and leverage opportunities to work with our existing clients with a focus on leading environmental impact assessments and approvals strategies with a particular focus on the Resources sectorWith a steady flow of big projects, youll also have the opportunity to work across different sectors including energy and infrastructureThe opportunity to showcase and further develop your program management skills and to play a key role in the further development of our business in New South WalesYoull be supported by specialist teams across EMM and leaders wholl be there to help you to growThe autonomy, flexibility and support you need to balance all aspects of your lifeWith offices across Australia; youll be able to flex and enjoy hybrid working at its bestHeres what youll bring to have impactA minimum of 15 years experience and a leader in environmental management, assessments and / or approvals across major projectsConsiderable experience in the delivery of state significant Environmental Approvals mining/resources projectsExperience in the mine closure and rehabilitation space will be looked upon favourablyA strong network and relationships with clients and regulatorsUndertake Project Director roles focused on strategic advice, client relationships, critical thinking, risk awareness and guidance/mentoring of junior staff, and ensuring high quality deliverablesHigh level of project management skills, including management of project budgets, tracking and schedules, outcome evaluation and client liaison, to help achieve high quality delivery outcomesA thorough knowledge of current NSW planning, mining and Commonwealth legislationHighly developed research, analysis and report writing skillsYou listen and understand others views and work together to create opportunities for allYou do what is right for your stakeholders to deliver what is true as opposed to popularYou understand the strength of humility and that no one is bigger than the teamIf youre looking to be part of a team that values innovation and empowers you to make a real impact, EMM could be the place for you.When you submit your application, look out for our email confirming safe receipt and important information regarding next steps.Our goal is to build a team of EMMers that looks like the world around us and we want EMMers to stay and grow.
