Of course, along with brands, and great assets, the other vital ingredient in our recipe for success is GREAT PEOPLE, and that is where you come in!The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to support and drive the overall Patties Quality strategy within Pakenham Operations on our afternoon shift team. The hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 3pm 11:06pm. no rotation required. Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, and working closely with the site operations team, the key purpose of the role is to support the maintenance and continuous improvement of quality assurance & food safety program onsite so the processes can continue to meet and exceed customer expectations. Liaising directly with the Production and Quality management, you will be responsible for:Educating and engaging production staff in relation to GMP requirements and quality standards around production linesConduct daily checks & line-walks on production lines to ensure CCPs, QCPs and X-Ray checks are metConducting GMP Audits and internal audits that verify quality & production processesAssist quality manager with internal and external auditsMaintain Site document control and procedures so that the operational procedures comply with established practices and standardsProvide food safety and quality training to production staffContinuously verify the level of training of all staff is sufficient in food production and every personnel who are responsible for food safety in their areas have the appropriate skills and practical knowledge.Investigate Non-conformances and root-cause analysisAdvising production and management on Quality performance and systems.The PersonTo be successful in this role, you will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in quality compliance and manufacturing environment is desirable.3 years'' experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.Demonstrate initiative and energy to deliver within deadline.Strong passion for quality and your ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment will ensure your success.High levels of attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making skills to achieve the desired outcomes.The confidence and skills to drive the quality culture and support the operations team through processes will be highly regarded.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.What we offer youAt Patties Food Group we are passionate about our people, brands and culture!
