Full Time or Part Time positions availableWe are currently seeking an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our team of ANUMs . Reporting to the Operating Suite- Nurse Unit Manager, you will contribute to the health outcomes of your patients through excellence in practice, fostering a learning culture, excellent communication skills and working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.The RoleThis rewarding opportunity will see you join Maryvale Private Hospital as an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM): Operating RoomsWorking in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and other senior staff to efficiently deliver care based on best practice principles within a collaborative framework.Our ANUMS share leadership responsibilities and each hold a dedicated portfolio specialisation.You will help ensure the operational performance of the Theatre and will be influential in creating a respectful culture where interdisciplinary team members collaborate effectively for positive patient outcomes and professional growth.Role available from .6 to F/T across Monday to FridayAbout youAn outstanding Assistant Nurse Unit Manager candidate will have:Registration AHPRA as Nurse Division 1 with a minimum 5 years experienceMinimum three years experience in peri-operative settingExperience successfully managing multiple stakeholders across a range of levelsDemonstrated experience in managing clinical projects and leading quality improvement initiativesDemonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skills and competence in best practice peri-operative nursingBe highly accountable and demonstrate a strong, supportive and engaging styleBe passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomesKnowledge and experience with quality improvement processes and NSQHS National Standards accreditation requirements.Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills including effective negotiation and conflict resolution.Demonstrated ability to build effective teams and work well with interdisciplinary staffExcellent negotiation and problem-solving skills that foster a positive workplace culture.Ability to develop positive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external customers.Be innovative and adaptable to change processesProficient skills in Microsoft Office suiteMotivated to take responsibility for a portfolio (1 x Endoscopy portfolio currently vacant.
