Our vision of unleashing technologies to enable great experiences for RMIT Audiences supports a proactive and leading-edge technology ecosystem, mindset and delivery empowering the advancement of the Universitys commitment to advancing Lifelong Learners.About the position The Lead Business Analyst will manage and steer the team of Business Analysts by working closely with business and technical stakeholders in defining scope and requirements, identifying business processes, and designing functional aspects of solutions in alignment with business needs. In the role you will be required to understand the pipeline of work, prioritise, and allocate the work to the appropriate team members. Taking on a proactive role in helping to understand the projects from inception and facilitation in creation of correct artefacts across its lifecycle. You will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the BA Practice and play an active role in promoting and sharing knowledge and skills amongst the team. The role is proficient in use of both agile and waterfall methodologies and promoting the use of right methodology for the project. About you You will showcase extensive experience of developing and implementing business processes and analysis standards and protocols within a large and complex organisation, including an understanding of business process complexity, cost, and revenue drivers. Demonstrate e xperience in both waterfall and agile methodologies, and able to bring fresh ideas to the project team and BA Practice. Possess o utstanding written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to negotiate with, influence and build consensus with a wide range of stakeholders, including the most senior members of management. Have an o utcomes-focussed approach , with the ability to work autonomously, delivering quality outcomes to agreed deadlines. Strong analytical problem solving and change leadership skills. Strong business analysis and engagement background and understanding of the application of Information Technologies within the education sector. Consultative and open minded, with highly effective communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
