There are nine surgical specialties in Australasia being: Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Urology and Vascular Surgery.About the RoleYou will be the strategic driver behind optimising end-to-end business processes across your portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Operations and Partnerships Officer, youll work closely with executives, subject matter experts, and technology partners to ensure processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with our broader corporate strategy.In this influential role, youll own and maintain business capability maps, lead business case development, manage operational applications, and guide cross-portfolio collaboration. Your work will have a direct impact on enhancing service delivery and stakeholder experience across the College.Key Responsibilities Own and maintain business capability maps (L0L3) within the portfolio. Document and improve as-is business processes to enhance efficiency. Lead RFIs and RFPs alongside IT to identify and implement the right tech solutions. Collaborate across teams to align operations with strategy and prevent inefficiencies. Develop business roadmaps, standardised KPIs, and performance reporting. Support change management, training, and adoption of new systems and processes. Work with IT and project teams to manage risk and ensure sustainable improvements.About YouYou will be a collaborative problem-solver with strong analytical skills and a passion for operational excellence. You bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation. Proven experience in business process ownership or optimisation. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficiency in capability mapping, process design, and ROI analysis. Experience aligning business processes with technology solutions.
