Were looking for a Logistics Supervisor to join us inArndell Park, NSW.Imagine a workplace where your leadership can drive real change and your passion for safety and teamwork can create a lasting impact.This is where ourLogistics Supervisorcomes inIn theLogistics Supervisorrole, youll lead oneverything fromdispatch scheduling, deliveryoptimisationand load & route planning - looking at different ways to gain financial benefits and operational efficiencies.Youll be a naturalteamleader who willmotivate and train our Customer Delivery Representatives in all key areas of distribution,which is a critical part of the success of the NSW operation.Youll also workalongside the Warehouse Supervisor inleadership and process improvement - being a catalyst for change management;sharing team membersas requirements change in the Warehouse & Distribution space. Also, supporting cross-training in both areas to provide flexibility,andtosupport succession planning in the wider Warehouse & Distribution team.From the first day to your initial 6 monthsand beyond,youllhave built solid internal relationships across the key functions,learnedall rolesthe delivery drivers carry out andthedistribution functions to work across any area as required by the Distribution Manager. Importantly, you''ll have started to make your mark on how existing processes can be improved.Sharp minds and trusted hands: heres who were looking for:As a dedicated,safety-focused teamleader,yourecomfortable motivating, developing, and supporting your team to achieve our key performance outcomes, and provide sound recommendations around continuous improvement of overall quality of work.Youll also bring:- Minimum 12 months experience within a supervisory or management role in a warehouse and distribution environment- Dispatch and Transport experience with a basic understanding of Logistics best practice- Solid working knowledge ofwarehouse safety principles and leading by example-Strong track record of developing high performing teams throughexcellentcommunication, problem-solving, and time managementskills- Experience in planning &distributionand warehouseoperations- In-depth knowledge ofWarehouse Management Systems (WMS) ideallyexperience using MicrosoftDynamics 365 or SAP- Chain of Responsibility (COR)knowledge and experienceIn addition, it would be highly desirableif you have the following, but not a must:- Previous battery experience or knowledge- Dangerous Goods experience or knowledge- Forklift licence or MR licence- Warehouse/Distribution qualifications- First Aid CertificateThe groundwork has been set for a motivated, people and customer focusedteamleader to be a part of a high-performing team.
