Our Forensic & Analytical Science Service provides independent, objective analysis to the NSW criminal and coronial justice systems.What We Can Offer YouGenerous salary packaging options and other fringe benefitsCorporate wellbeing programs, including the Fitness PassportLearning and development opportunities, including in-house training with RTO My Health LearningWhat You''ll Be DoingThe Procurement Officer will provide procurement expertise and assist stakeholders to plan, source and manage procurement arrangements in line with NSW Health Procurement Policy to effectively meet organisational and business objectives, as well as support both the Procurement Manager and Commercial Manager in complex procurement projects.Act as the Oracle Gatekeeper for NSW Health Pathology (NSWHP) in reviewing Oracle requisitions to ensure accuracy and alignment with NSW Health Procurement Policy and financial and standardisation processes.Compile, maintain and manage data analytics and reporting to inform statewide Procurement initiatives and opportunities. Provide reports, analyses and advice to support procurement decision-making.Drive procurement compliance through promotion and education of the NSW Health Procurement Policy, use of existing contracts and identifying opportunities to reduce spend out of contract.Interested in joining Australias largest public pathology service? Apply now by addressing the following questions:Experience in procurement and contracts, including relevant qualifications or equivalent.Demonstrated experience in a procurement environment with an understanding of Oracle (or similar) financial system.Detailed understanding and application of the principles of responsible financial management in procurement with and an understanding of procurement rules in line with NSW Procurement guidelines.Proven engagement, collaboration and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build, maintain and use relationships with customers, staff and stakeholders.Strong analytical skills to create effective procurement spend, compliance and savings reports, as well as written reports.Demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).Excellent written and oral communication skills and problem solving.Efficient, effective planning and use of own time in the setting of priorities to achieve set objectives with the resources available and within set time frames.
