Our department is a busy unit providing RMDs to 8 operating theatres across an array of multiple Surgical Specialties including the provision of Flexible Endoscopes to the Endoscopy Unit. CSSD is spacious and modern meeting all Gap Analysis requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of a team based environment while providing leadership and support to the CSSD team, working in partnership with the Procedural and Ward areas.Ensure standards, guidelines and legislative requirements are met with governance from assurance practiceWhat you bring:The applicant will demonstrate their capability through their previous experience, attitude, skills, behaviour and attributes which will include considerable CSSD experience and knowledge.Demonstrated understanding of the provision of CSSD services within a health care environment.Sound knowledge of current CSSD policies, procedures and safe work practices.Thorough understanding of the governing Australian Standards, Guidelines and legislative requirements relating to sterilisation and risk management principles as they relate to CSSDThe ability to motivate, inspire and lead staff to achieve service and professional goals.Demonstrated communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively at all levels of work, and interact as part of a diverse professional team.Demonstrated interpersonal skills including effective negotiation and conflict resolution.Formal qualifications in SterilisationDemonstrated experience in data analysis and in providing reports for senior executivesCurrent Working with Vulnerable People Check or willingness to obtainA desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisationHow To Join The TeamTo be considered for this exciting position at Calvary Bruce CSSD please submit your CV and claim against the selection criteria via the apply button.Please direct any enquiries regarding this position to Maddison Bahnert, Perioperative Services Manager or (02) at Maddison.Bahnert@calvarycare.org.auWhy work for Calvary?At Calvary, our staff matter.
