Reporting to the Senior Manager, HSW, you''ll work closely with and provide support to the HSW team to ensure hazards are addressed, risks managed, and wellbeing initiatives embedded across operations.Key responsibilities:Support the implementation and management of VEC HSW policies and proceduresDeliver responsive, operational HSW support to people leaders and employeesSupport hazard identification, risk assessments, incident reporting, and investigationsMaintain HSW data, track trends, and contribute to continuous improvementProvide HSW administrative support to the teamRequired ExperienceSkills and experience required:Sound knowledge of the OHS legislationExperience supporting HSW in fast-paced and varied environmentsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office programsFormal qualifications in WHS or related disciplineWhy Work with VECPlay a meaningful role in supporting Victoria''s democratic processWork in a high-impact, people-focused HSW role supporting thousands of workersFlexible working - 2 days in the office, 3 days from home (subject to operational needs)Opportunities for training, development and professional membership supportAccess to public sector benefits including generous leave, lump-sum payments and additional entitlements under the VPS Enterprise AgreementTo ApplyClick the apply button to submit your resume.
