This role will provide a rewarding opportunity for someone who possesses experience within the industry and can hit the ground running, assisting with general construction and maintenance labouring tasks associated with, and including truck and plant operations if required.Join our Transport Network Operations Construction Delivery team and play a key role in operating heavy vehicles and supporting civil construction and maintenance across the Sunshine Coast.Key Duties IncludeOperate medium rigid trucks and other plant in line with licensing and safety requirementsAssist with general civil construction and maintenance tasksMaintain and operate machinery and equipment safely and efficientlyComply with WH&S and environmental standards and proceduresComplete daily documentation including timesheets, logbooks, and incident reportsSupport a safe, inclusive, and high-performing team cultureAbout YouAs a skilled and safety-conscious operator, youll bring:A current C Class and Medium Rigid (MR) drivers licenceA General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) Blue/White CardPhysical fitness and agility for manual labour and heavy liftingStrong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skillsRelevant licences and tickets to operate heavy vehicles and plantDesirable QualificationsCertificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent experienceExperience operating and maintaining trucks and civil construction equipmentPre-Employment Medical RequiredEssential to your success is physical agility and the level of fitness, strength and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting & bending.
