Whilst this full-time position is not a position recognised by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) for training, it will provide the successful candidate with an outstanding opportunity to experience neurosurgery in a private university hospital and academic health science centre. The candidate will also actively participate in the weekly education and academic meetings. You will be keen to work in an innovative multidisciplinary environment and be passionate about providing exceptional patient centred care.You will have experience working within busy inpatient settings while balancing supervision, teaching and mentoring of junior staff and medical students.QualificationsRegistration as a medical practitioner in Australia (AHPRA).Active (or eligible to be an active) Accredited Practitioner of Macquarie University HospitalProfessional Indemnity InsuranceIf you are an overseas applicant, you must provide evidence of your proficiency in the OET or IELTS English language (written, spoken and reading). Evidence must be submitted at time of application.
