All employees have an accountability to ensure work and conduct is aligned to these.Councils Animal Control Attendant contributes to providing a safe and healthy community by ensuring the provisions of the Companion Animals Act 1998 and Regulations are complied with. The role will give consideration to Councils Companion Animals Policy, in balancing enforcement and education approaches to issues that may arise.The role is part of a team that provides an effective animal shelter with emphasis on reuniting companion animals to their owners, rehousing companion animals, animal care and providing a hygienic facility.
