This business-critical role enables all your practical industry experience, leadership skills, tertiary qualifications, and market knowledge to come together to lead a team performing truly meaningful work at the forefront of this monumental market transition.What Were Looking ForAs a commercially astute leader with significant experience in the energy industry and /or similar development roles, you will have a track record of delivery in the energy transition. In addition to rich and deep commercial attributes and technical aspects of project delivery we are searching for an exceptional people leader. Wed expect applicants to have tertiary and post-tertiary qualifications in engineering, finance, accounting, economics or another relevant quantitative degree. Specific skills and experience were seeking include:Experience in achieving financial close on large scale renewable energy and firming projects to deliver on the energy transition.Experience in development process from concept to investment commitmentDemonstrated ability to lead, develop, and mentor a high performing teamTrack record in aligning stakeholders to deliver on strategy and create valuePassion for delivering on the energy transition with the evident drive, resilience, and fire in your bellyIn-depth understanding of the energy sector, and value drivers for energy markets, in AustraliaExperience in negotiating high value contractsStrong understanding and ability to present outputs of financial modellingOutstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to influence thinking and drive changeHow To ApplyIf youre as passionate as us about leading and accelerating the clean energy transformation, and ready to light the way towards your next career move, click the ''Apply button now.Please apply using your Resume and a brief letter explaining your interest and suitability.
