Job Title

Quantifi is seeking a self-motivated, autonomous individual with an eye for detail who thoroughly understands software testing processes. While training will be provided, the candidate should be able to learn quickly and apply it to current and future tasks.This position will involve testing existing and new functionality for desktop and web applications. The candidate will be expected to work closely with project managers, developers, and business users to improve our leading-edge pricing and risk management software.Responsibilities:Participate in design discussions and convert requirements into test plansCreate and maintain test data for regression test databasesDevelop or enhance manual and automated testExecute both exploratory testing and more formal test plansMonitor and analyze manual and automation test resultsDesign test automation scripts and convert existing manual tests to automated testsIdentify areas for improving efficiency, shortening of test cycles, and automation of test scriptsInteract with developers, business analysts and support staff in identifying and resolving defectsFind, replicate, report, and verify bug fixes using defect tracking systemRequirements:BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field3+ years of relevant IT/Quality Assurance work experience and thorough understanding of SDLCStrong analytical skills and attention to detailProficiency in Software QA methodologies with history of excellence in software testingDemonstrable knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practiceAble to effectively organize and prioritize multiple tasksExperience in performance and load testing2+ years of coding or automation experienceWorking knowledge of PowershellMust have proficiency with SQLGood time management SkillsExperience Preferred but not required:Knowledge of capital markets financial products and associated risk metricsProficiency with PythonExperience with JIRAExperience with DevOpsWhat we offer:You will be working with a talented team of engineers on challenging problems in an entrepreneurial, supportive and collaborative environmentYou will be in a firm that values employee development and will be provided with ample guidance, training and supportYou will have the opportunity to learn from senior staff as well as our clients that include some of the most sophisticated financial firmsYou will be working on the latest technology in a firm that thrives on innovation #J-18808-Ljbffr
