We are suppliers to other high-profile restaurants such as, Cumulus Inc, Gimlet, Cutler & Co., Rockpool, Cittas & Carlton Wine Room. We have an excellent reputation in our local communities and work with well-known charity groups in Melbourne.About The RoleThis role is a full time baker''s position. This position requires enthusiasm, an eagerness and willingness to learn and take direction, teamwork, and co-operation with fellow production team members.Principal ResponsibilityThe principal responsibility of this role is work in the day-to-day production and preparation of dough and loaves for the following days baking. A successful employee will have respect for ingredients and machinery, take pride in learning and perfecting the way Baker Bleu dough is to be shaped, be consistent, efficient, and reliable.The Following Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToThorough understanding of the bread production procedure documentsSupport and assist all members of your team whenever and wherever possible.Execution of the order of production in a timely and accurate manner for each day.Maintaining the safe and responsible operation of all equipment used.Assisting in the preparation and pack down of boards and equipment for following days production.The Ideal CandidateTo be successful in this role you should have previous experience in a bakery. Baker Bleu can offer the ideal highly competitive above award wages, ongoing training and opportunities for career progression. Unlike many retail bakery outlets, there are no night shifts or late-night finishes. Indicative salary equivalent to $51k to 76k.
