Internal candidates are encouraged to visit our internal careers page for current opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintaining plant and equipment to ensure the efficient operation the ore processing facilityFollow standard work instructionsConduct daily inspectionsProvide quality shift handovers, and maintain daily logs and reportingAssist with continuous improvement initiatives to help improve plant performanceIdentify hazards in the work environment and resolve them in an efficient and timely mannerQualifications and ExperienceAustralian Recognised Trade CertificatePrevious experience operating large scale wet or dry processing plants, ideally in a mining environmentAbility to risk assess and apply controls with a high regard for safetyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively through two-way operationsCurrent C Class Drivers LicenceOur CommitmentFortescue celebrates individual strengths and team members are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work.
