Job Description

Our client is a leading boutique law firm located in the heart of Sydney CBD.As a Legal Secretary within the Property Law team, you will play a crucial support role in the day-to-day running of conveyancing and property matters. Working closely with our solicitors, you will provide administrative and legal secretarial support with a strong focus on efficiency, attention to detail, and client service.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence related to property transactionsAssist with the preparation and lodgement of PEXA and Land Registry Services (LRS) formsManage client files including digital filing and document management using our Document Management System (DMS)Draft and address letters and other communicationsOrganise and maintain property matter files in accordance with firm protocolsCommunicate professionally with clients, agents, and external stakeholdersPerform general administrative duties including data entry, scanning, filing, and calendar managementProvide clerical support during transactions, settlements, and file closingsAdhere to internal compliance procedures and assist in maintaining best practices across the property teamKey Skills & Experience:Previous experience in a legal secretarial or administrative role, ideally within a property or conveyancing teamStrong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)Experience with Adobe Pro and legal document formattingFamiliarity with PEXA and LRS platforms preferredExcellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy and strong spelling and grammarStrong attention to detail and time management abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a collaborative team environmentPositive attitude and a professional demeanourInitiative and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated enthusiasm for property law or legal practiceBasic secretarial training in document presentation, formatting, and legal correspondenceWhat We Offer:A supportive and knowledgeable team environmentOpportunities for growth and learning within the property law spaceA community-focused culture with genuine work-life balanceConvenient office location and modern technology systemsAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.To apply please click apply or call Ksenia Varaksina on 02 8289 3213 for a confidential discussion.About the jobContract Type: PermanentSpecialism: Secretarial & Business Support #J-18808-Ljbffr
