A day in the life working in salesThe goal:Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails and LinkedIn.Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.Set up and host meetings to prospective clients.Great time management skills, stay up-to-date with new products/ services and new pricing/ payment plans. Base salaries range from $65,000-$75,000 with total compensation on average at $95,000 in your first year including commission.Strong career progression: starting your career in sales can lead you to working with the worlds biggest enterprises, managing sales teams of hundreds, or defining the strategy for how new products go to market.
