Join the vibrant front-of-house team at Hecho En Mexico Kingston, a popular Mexican restaurant coming in the heart of Kingston, ACT. As a Front of House Staff and Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.Key responsibilitiesGreet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional mannerEfficiently manage the dining room, including seating guests, taking orders, and serving food and drinksPrepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic beveragesProvide recommendations on menu items and beverages to ensure customers have an enjoyable dining experienceMaintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tables are cleared and reset promptlyAssist with hosting duties, such as reservations and wait list managementCommunicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilmentAdhere to all health, safety, and liquor licensing regulationsWhat we''re looking forPrevious experience in a similar front-of-house or bartending role, ideally in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environmentWe are hiring Casuals and Part-time Permanent.Preferable weekend availability ( Friday and Saturday).Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for providing exceptional dining experiencesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a teamProficiency in making a variety of cocktails, with knowledge of drink recipes and preparation techniquesFamiliarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling proceduresA flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and manage a fast-paced environmentResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification or willingness to obtainWhat we offerAt Hecho En Mexico Kingston, we are committed to providing a positive and inclusive work environment.
