About the Centre for Research and Education in Diabetes and Obesity (CREDO) CREDO is located at the Repatriation Hospital Campus of Austin Health and is part of the Medical Services Division. CREDO has a strong history in conducting clinical trials in metabolic disorders, primarily focusing on diabetes and obesity. About the Role We are seeking a part-time Endocrinology Research Registrar for 24 hours per week in a fixed-term position to join our growing team. The successful candidate will serve as a Clinical Trial Sub Investigator across multiple Phase I to IV clinical trials, providing medical support in accordance with research protocols, ICH-GCP Guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. Typical Responsibilities Ensure all CREDO Unit requirements for acting as a Clinical Trials Sub-Investigator are met (e.g., GCP training). Attend CREDO Clinical Clinics as a sub-investigator Monday to Friday to manage participant recruitment and trial processes. Supervise patient accrual, data collection, and assist with data analysis. Collaborate with team members and sponsors to ensure high-quality data collection, adherence to Good Clinical Practice, and protocol compliance. Candidate Profile You should possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and a proactive attitude. A keen interest in developing your skills is essential. Qualifications include: Registered Medical Practitioner in Australia with AHPRA. Up-to-date knowledge in diabetes and obesity. Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate.
