Join us and make a meaningful difference to the lives of seniors.Your RoleAs a Maintenance Gardener/Officer with Juniper, you will be responsible for providing general maintenance and gardening services to ensure the site remains functional, safe and presentable. Your role will also include general maintenance of grounds, buildings, fittings and equipment.The successful candidate will be offered a permanent part-time position.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance duties as required while ensuring economical and safe use of Junipers resources.Maintain facilities in accordance with policies and strive to meet outcome standards related to the condition of the physical environment.Respect residents private property and their right to privacy.Maintain fixed assets using appropriate trade skills, tools or outside providers as necessary.Apply the principles of planned preventative maintenance.Maintain knowledge and skills in accordance with the required competencies of the position.Ensure compliance with Occupational, Safety and Health requirements including appropriate Injury Risk Management.Key RequirementsTrade qualification relevant to the construction and maintenance of buildings and equipment (desirable).Understanding of current OSH and legal requirements.Sound experience in building maintenance and related areas.Ability to prioritise workloads effectively without supervision.Effective time management and planning skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Why Join UsAccess to salary sacrifice options up to $18,550 per annum.Health insurance discount with Medibank* or HBF*.Non-profit, values-driven Western Australian aged care provider.Access to Juniperks - an online platform for retail discounts, employee perks and wellness initiatives.Free parking on site.How To ApplyDont miss this opportunity to join a supportive team in a rewarding role!
