To learn more about our business, please visit mauri.com.au and gwf.com.au.About The RoleWe are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Maintenance Fitter for our Camellia site. This role will be responsible for working on scheduled and preventative maintenance within the site, as well as attending to breakdown responses to support business operations.Reporting to the site Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include:Carrying out daily servicing, repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment as scheduled by the Maintenance PlannerBe actively involved in plant improvements and projectsMaintain a proactive safety attitude and follow safety protocols (e.g., LOTO, permits)Work with and assist other team members as required e.g. two people, fabrication (hot work) or heavy-duty mechanical skillsRespond promptly to breakdown calls, evaluate causes, and implement solutions in coordination with production staffCarry out minor electrical tasks i.e. disconnects - reconnects, resets, in line with relevant electrical qualifications, if applicableTo be successful in this role, you will be required to possess:Relevant trade qualification (e.g. Mechanical Fitter & Turner)Strong welding skillsRestricted Electrical licence (Desirable)Experience in FMCG or Food manufacturingRelevant licences and tickets e.g. Confined space, Forklift, Working at heights, Elevated work platform (Desirable)Strong communication skills with an all-inclusive approach to dealing with peers and operations personnel at all levels in the businessWhat''s in it for you?Competitive salary package plus bonusA culture that is Safe, Courageous, Collaborative and Trusting, in line with our valuesOngoing learning and developmentCareer opportunities within George Weston Foods and Associated British FoodsGenuine commitment to safety and wellbeing, including access to our Employee Assistance Program with TELUS HealthDiscounted private healthcare and preferential hotel rates across Australia and New ZealandAt GWF, we are passionate about our brands and live by our values, Safe, Courageous, Trusting and Collaborative.
