We match you based on your skillset, preferences, and interests, and give you an opportunity to meet your participant prior to working with them.Hearth is looking for support workers across Bayside Suburbs, such as Frankston 3199, Langwarrin 3910, Seaford 3198 and the surrounding areas.The role may involve:Assistance with community access and recreational activitiesPersonal care (showering, toileting, and hygiene assistance)Manual handling and the use of wheelchairs & hoistsTransportation andsocial engagementLight domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaningBehavioural and Mental Health SupportOur ideal candidate will have:Professional or lived experience supporting someonewith a disabilityAn understanding of the disability sector and person-centred supportExcellent communication skills, and a compassionate approachFlexible availability & a long-term commitment to HearthEssential criteria:An understanding of the disability/community services sector and person-centred supportTransferable life/work skills along with a caring and compassionate approachA valid driver''s license and a registered vehicleNDIS Worker Screening CheckThe legal right to work in AustraliaExcellent communication skillsA genuine interest in the wellbeing & inclusion of people with disabilitiesWe pay above award ratesWork close to home with flexible hoursWe work around your availability, with shifts available at all timesYou''ll support the same people at the same times each weekEach person you support has a dedicated Relationship ManagerTraining is tailored to the person you''re supportingClear opportunities for career progressionIf this sounds like you, we''d love to hear from you!Please include a Cover Letter addressing the selection criteria when applying.If you do not yet hold an NDIS Check, commence the application process as soon as possible regardless of employment status.
