We believe thats what makes us truly different!We are currently seeking experienced Care Workers to provide daily support to our residents at Bethanie Beachside Aged Care Home located in Yanchep. Co-located with a retirement village, Bethanie Beachside is one of our larger sites with 160 beds and provides specialised high level acuity, dementia and palliative care.You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is maintained while building positive and professional relationships with residents and team members.We are looking for applicants who are able to commit to a minumum of three shifts per week on a permanent basis, with part time and full time hours available across morning, afternoon and evening shifts.Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support we provide to our residents. Applicants with at least twelve months experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.About YouPrevious experience working in an aged care or hospital environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work well as a team and also independentlyWillingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie GroupWillingness to obtain relevant vaccinationsCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one)The RoleAssess care plans and ensure residents needs are metEnsure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe mannerDeliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respectEnsure residents rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standardWorking with BethanieMany of us work because we want to make a difference.
