This is a permanent full-time role with opportunities for growth.Reporting to the Site Leaders, your responsibilities will include:LeadershipSupervise a small team of Animal Care TechniciansPromote safety within the teamLead team talksComplete orientation and training of new Animal Care TechniciansLivestock CareTend to routine animal husbandryMaintain accommodation pens, fittings, and equipmentHandle chemicalsOperate machinery and equipmentProvide feed and water for animalsCure sick or injured stock and maintain herd healthLivestock Analysis, Research & AdviceMaintain quality standardsInspect feed effectivenessAssist in breeding to improve livestock strainsArrange supply of drugs, vaccines, and chemicalsAdvise on production processes and farming techniquesCandidates should have at least two years of experience in piggery operations and supervision of small teams, with demonstrated expertise in pig production, herd health, APIQ & Welfare Standards, and strong communication skills.To apply, submit your resume and cover letter via the Apply button.
