Its relatively straightforward. All you need is an interest for learning new things and a love of the outdoors.What does a Water Operator do?Picture a plumber fixing a burst pipe in your house. Now think about a leaking pipe in the street.Same problem. The only difference is youre keeping your communitys water supply running.As a Water Operator, youre regularly outdoors. Youre digging trenches, inspecting pipelines, and repairing broken water services.Youre learning a collection of skills that can set you on your way to a technical, management or leadership role.Your main concern is keeping the water supply network running.
