PHE currently has an opportunity for a Storeperson to join our team on a 2 and 1 roster in Central West NSW.Role Overview: A Storeperson is responsible for the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, equipment, and other items from stock. The role involves keeping records and compiling stock reports.Key Responsibilities:Receive and count stock items, recording data manually or using a computer.Verify inventory by comparing physical stock counts and investigating discrepancies or correcting errors.Operate equipment safely to load and unload deliveries of materials.Maintain cleanliness and safety of supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas.Prepare, review, and maintain purchase orders, requisitions, and related documents.Coordinate with supervisors and purchasing staff regarding stock procurement and availability.About You:Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.Knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Clear communication skills, capable of expressing positive and negative information.Ability to read and interpret written information.The Successful Candidate Will Have:General Construction White Card.Manual C-Class Driver''s License.Certificate III or higher in Logistics and Warehousing.Relevant High Risk Work Licence (LF).Telehandler Gold Card.Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.All tickets and licenses must be current to commence on-site and be valid for employment with PHE.PHE has a 50-year history of providing safe, rewarding, and long-term employment in regional and remote areas.
