Join a loving and active family in Manly, providing care and support for three wonderful children!Location: Manly, NSWStart Date: Early May 2025Ongoing/Permanent RolePay: $35-40 per hourHours and Days4 days per week (1 Full Day and 3 Afternoon/Evenings)Monday & Wednesday & Thursday: 3:00 pm 8:00 pmTuesday: 8:00 am 5:00 pm (Flexibility in the hours on this day for the right candidate)About the RoleA busy and loving family in Manly is looking for a warm, patient, and engaging nanny to provide care for their two children (aged 7 and 3). The role focuses (though not limited to) on after-school care, meal preparation, homework help, and light housework to keep the household running smoothly. There is 1 full day with the younger child on a Tuesday.About YouThe family is looking for someone who is:Engaging & Funable to connect with and entertain the childrenWarm & Patientgentle but firm in approachOrganised & Reliableable to follow routines and manage time wellFlexible & Proactiveable to adapt to the familys needsYour Responsibilities & Typical DayGeneral Duties:3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child careCaring for two children (ages 7 & 3)Helping with homework and school-related tasksTaking the children to activities (3x per week)Cooking meals (noodles, lasagna, curry etc)Light housework, including kids laundry & linenA Typical Day Might Include:Afternoon school pick-up & transport to activities (as needed)Homework supervision & educational playEngaging activities & playtimeDinner preparation & mealtime assistanceEvening wind-down, including bath & bedtime prepLight tidying up and managing kids laundryExpectations3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child careChildcare qualifications preferredHave a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)Have a current Working With Childrens CheckDisplay strong communication skills and speaks EnglishExperience working with young childrenConfident cook able to prepare simple mealsOrganised and proactive mindsetNon smokingComfortable riding a bike for transport needsA Note from the FamilyWe believe in gentle but firm parenting, with a flexible yet structured approach to routines.
