Ideally, the candidate will be studying accountancy and have some accountancy experience, who we can train up to take on more of an accounting role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for the role. Fluent in English as client communication is a large part of the role.Responsibilities include:Administrative support to the team, including general admin duties and office organisationAnswering phones and replying to emailsCollecting and sorting mail, printing, copying, scanning, and electronic filing of documentsLiaising with clients, the ATO, ASIC, and other government bodiesAssisting with the preparation of documentsExperience with MYOB AccountRight and the ATO Tax Agent Portal is preferable but not essentialOn-the-job training will be provided, but must be a fast learner and able to manage many tasks across different areas.Basic computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel are required, plus basic skills in a range of accounting software would be a bonus.
