Already Applied?Update your details, view your application and progressLoginApply now Job no: 495073Work type: Full timeLocation: Melbourne - CBD & Inner Suburbs, Melbourne - Northern SuburbsCategories: Trades and ServicesCivil Maintenance Team MembersMon to Friday 6am to 3pmCitywide are looking for experienced Civil Maintenance Team Members to join our operations based in North Melbourne.This role will see you working on all aspects of asphalt/bluestone installation and maintenance across roads, footpaths, potholes and reinstatements, as well as street furniture and sign maintenance.On a day-to-day basis the position requires the use of various equipment including: rollers and handheld equipment such as compaction plates, demolition saws etc.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Operation of vehicles and equipment such as wacker, roller, vibrating plates, flocons, jack hammers, hand rammer, pick and other hand toolsInstallation of footpaths, roadways and/or reinstatements including raking, shovelling, rolling, paving and tampingRepair/replace hot mix asphalt/bluestone pavingRepair/replace streets signs, structural support and street furniture assetsEnsure the site is set up safely, providing effective pedestrian and traffic controlComplete work activity recordsEnsure that fleet are maintained in a safe and presentable conditionOther duties as required within the scope of the roleSkills Required:MR Truck Licence (preferred)Asphalt road maintenance experience (preferred)Experience in maintenance and operation of relevant equipmentAbility to read and interpret plansStrong knowledge and appreciation of OH&SConstruction Induction White CardTraffic Management TicketAble to work well in a team environmentWorking with Children CardIn return we offer:The job security that comes with our list of long-term contractsThe chance to make an impact in a rapidly expanding companyThe opportunity to further develop your skills in a strong, supportive environmentA workplace that focuses on safety firstA company with a culture of teamwork and respectAbout Citywide:Citywide is a company with a clear purpose and mission we shape liveable cities by delivering the full scope of civil infrastructure, open space and environmental services to government and private enterprise.
