In this hands-on role, youll gain exposure across assembly, machining, planning, and production documentation while contributing directly to daily manufacturing outcomes.Reporting to the Production Manager, this is an ideal opportunity for someone with a mechanical background or engineering qualification whos eager to build a long-term career in production management and supply/demand planning.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and coordinate daily production planning to ensure on-time deliveryCreate and maintain documentation for SOPs, maintenance registers, and continuous improvement recordsGenerate shop packets and picking reports for production prep and job finalisationRaise requisitions for parts, consumables, and tooling, and follow up with purchasingAssist with LEAN projects to improve efficiency and reduce wasteMaintain and organise preventative maintenance schedules on key production equipmentParticipate in inventory control and cycle counting activitiesOperate basic machines in the workshop when requiredSupport mechanical assembly and product testing as neededKeep inventory organised in the CNC Smart Cabinet systemTake on additional tasks as directed by the Production ManagerAbout YouYoure a hands-on, mechanically minded individual whos eager to learn and grow.
