We have a position for an electrical technician on a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension to permanent. Youll work alongside ambitious, driven, and team-spirited colleagues on the Sydney Metro North West Project. Your responsibilities will include conducting maintenance inspections and visits for preventative and corrective maintenance at the depot, home to Australia''s first driverless metro train.Well look to you for:Carrying out preventative maintenance programs on depot infrastructure (e.g., troubleshooting, duty checks, inspections, component changes, and overhauls)Investigating faults in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and other componentsRefurbishing and modifying equipment, including replacing and upgrading components and systemsResponding to equipment breakdowns and participating in first response situationsAssisting in preparing Safe Systems of Work, Rule Changes, and Risk AssessmentsParticipating in integrated teams for electro-mechanical equipment changes involving multi-skillingAll about youWe are seeking a motivated and proactive individual passionate about problem solving.
