Chic rooms and suites embrace the iconic attractions just steps away, while the award-winning restaurant and street front bar are destinations unto themselves.About The RoleMaintenance of this luxury hotel is conducted 7 days a week and our team of Handypersons work on a rotating basis to ensure the hotel is kept in perfect condition and our guests needs are met and exceeded.In this position we are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a professional environment, has great customer service skills, high operating standards and enjoys being "hands on" by utilising their exceptional eye for detail. This position is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the Hotel and its facilities.What You Will DoAttend to guest room work requests and perform minor carpentry, plumbing, fitting, painting and general maintenance work especially in guest rooms and front of house areasAct as an assistant to the Shift Engineer, Painter, Electrician, Fitter and Carpenter as requiredConducts preventative maintenance in guest rooms and on equipment assigned to them from the maintenance schedulePerform routine maintenance, clean filters, pumps, chlorinators, robot cleaners and heat pumps for the swimming pool as per quality standardsTest and balance dosing systems for the pool and jacuzzi and keep inventory levelsWhat You Will BringPrevious or current experience in a handyperson or maintenance role with good all round trade skills, preferably within a large hotel or residential buildingThe ability to build and maintain strong relationships with people at all levels, across all areas, including contractors, suppliers, guests and of course our employeesA passion for providing a great guest experience and impeccable productSolid verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skillsStrong multi-tasking abilityWhat We OfferCompetitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits packageExcellent Training and Development opportunitiesComplimentary Accommodation at other Four Seasons Hotels and ResortsComplimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee UniformsComplimentary Employee MealsIf you fit the above criteria, we look forward to receiving your application!Candidates will need the right to work in Australia.We make it a point to take the time to review each resume carefully to select those that are a match with the preferred qualifications for the job.
